Student privacy, security and accessibility

What ClassSense does with student data, what it documents, and what it does not claim.

ClassSense uses Anthropic's Claude through the commercial API, and data sent that way is not used for model training. There is no advertising, no ad trackers and no sale of student data. Families and teachers can ask for an export or for deletion. The full statements are on the privacy policy, the data practices page and the terms.

The pages below go further: how FERPA and COPPA apply, what the accessibility documentation covers and what is still pending, and how to read the student privacy laws of particular states. ClassSense describes its approach as readiness, not certification, and none of these pages is legal advice. Check the law and your district's own policies for your situation.
