Turn the materials you already have into practice

ClassSense starts from a document you already teach from. Pick the kind of source you have.

You upload a PDF, a Word document or a PowerPoint. In about three minutes ClassSense breaks it into up to ten skill packs. Each pack has an explanation at three depths, worked examples, the common misconceptions named out loud, and multiple choice practice where the wrong answers are tied to those misconceptions.

The pages below cover specific starting points: slides, a shared document, a textbook chapter, a vocabulary list, an old test. Each one says what comes back and what you still do yourself. Text survives the upload. Diagrams, pictures of equations and handwriting do not, so a scanned worksheet of handwritten work is a poor starting point.

Turn a PDF into a lessonA step by step walkthrough: upload a PDF, DOCX or PPTX, let ClassSense extract the skills, review what it built, and share the class code. PowerPoint to quizUpload a PPTX and get multiple choice practice for each skill, plus a printable assessment. See what ClassSense reads from slides, notes and tables. Google Slides to practiceClassSense has no direct Google import. Download your Slides deck as a PPTX, upload it, and get skill packs and practice. Here is the exact route. Google Doc to lessonDownload your Google Doc as a DOCX, upload it, and ClassSense builds student-facing skill packs from it. Headings, tables and what to fix first. Worksheet to online gameClassSense builds four review games from your material, but not from the worksheet's exact questions. Here is what a worksheet upload does produce. Textbook chapter to practiceHow to get a textbook chapter into ClassSense as skill packs and practice: rights, splitting long chapters, and what sidebars and scans do to extraction. Notes to study cardsClassSense has no flashcard feature. Upload typed notes for skill packs with key terms and practice, plus printable Task Cards. The honest route. PDF to quizKnow what kind of PDF you have, then choose between in-app multiple choice practice and a printable assessment with an answer key. Pitfalls included. Lesson plan to activitiesA lesson plan is written for you, not students. See what ClassSense builds from one, what it cannot build, and how to prepare the plan so it is usable. Vocabulary list to practiceA bare word list gives ClassSense almost nothing to build on. Add a sentence for each term and you get multiple choice practice. Here is how to prepare it. Old test to review gameUpload last year's test and ClassSense builds skill packs, then four review games from them. The games use new questions, not your original items.
