Why it is not free
Every lesson, practice item and alternate explanation is generated by a large language model, and that costs real money per use. A free tier funded by advertising would mean advertising against children's learning data, which is not going to happen here. Nineteen dollars is what it costs to run honestly.
Why there is no per-student fee
Per-seat pricing punishes exactly the teacher who should be using this most: the one with a hundred and sixty students across five sections. Your class size is not a pricing signal, it is a working condition.
Schools and districts
Group pricing exists and is a conversation rather than a published tier. Small schools vary too much for a table to be honest about. Get in touch through the form on the home page and say how many teachers you have.
Open beta. ClassSense is in open beta for individual teachers. That means registration is open and you can start today, and it also means you will find rough edges. Report them and they get fixed, usually quickly, by the person who built it.
